...Girl interupted...

I was watching Girl Interrupted the other night.
Its a movie i havn't seen in a very long time but its outstanding.
Its the story of a girl questionably diagnosed with a borderline personality disorder, who rebels against the head nurse at a psychiatric hospital and instead befriends her inmates.
Its about her time there and what she goes through and her journey to reclaim her freedom after facing up to her inner msot fear....herself.
Its definately worth a watch, I would have prefered to have read the book first but its finding the time.
It has Oscar winning actors and preformances from the likes of Angelina Jolie, Winona Ryder and Whoopi Goldberg.

I have many favorite lines from this film,
but one of the most memorable for me is what the character of Lisa,
portrayed by Angelina Jolie, says:

"razors pain you;
rivers are damp;
acid stains you;
drugs cause cramp.
Gunas aren't lawful;
nooses give.
Gas smells awful,
you might as well live."
