...Buda Castle...
"In every real life there comes a moment
when one plunges into a passion as if
flinging himself over the Niagara falls."
(Sándor Márai)
Buda Castle is the historical castle of the Hungarian kings in Budapest.
Buda Castle was built on the southern tip of Castle Hill, next to the old Castle District, which is famous for its medieval, Baroque and 19th century houses and public buildings.
...Hungarians...
You can recognize Hungarians by two things.
When they talk, they speak in a weird, obscure language full of E sounds;
when they are silent, they seem to be wondering about what on earth they are.
(László Márton)

...Happy...
What makes you happy?
Or even who?
Makes you smile everyday, through everything.
For me, its Lucky, my dog.
Shes always happy, she even smiles!
She loves people, loves the world,
always playful and looking for something to entertain her.
I look at her and she loves me unconditionally, shes always there
and she makes every worry i have melt when i look at her.
Shes part of the family.
Without her i don't know what i'd do.
Or even who?
Makes you smile everyday, through everything.

...Memento Mori...
Memento Mori is a Latin phrase which may be freely translated as "Remember that you are mortal," "Remember you will die," or "Remember your death". It names a genre of artistic creations that vary widely from one another, but which all share the same purpose, which is to remind people of their own mortality.
Two stanzas typical of memento mori in mediaeval music are from the virelai ad mortem festinamus of the Catalan Llibre Vermell de Montserrat from 1399:
Vita brevis breviter in brevi finietur,
Mors venit velociter que neminem veretur,
Omnia mors perimit et nulli miseretur.
Ad mortem festinamus peccare desistamus.
Life is short and shortly it will end
Death comes quicker than you think
It takes everything away, but takes pity on no one
We hasten towards death, we shall refrain from sinning
Ni conversus fueris et sicut puer factus
Et vitam mutaveris in meliores actus,
Intrare non poteris regnum Dei beatus.
Ad mortem festinamus peccare desistamus.
If you don’t repent and become pure as a child
And if you don’t change your life by doing better,
You cannot enter the Kingdom of God.
We hasten towards death, we shall refrain from sinning

...Tao...
A small country has fewer people.
Though there are machines that can work ten to a hundred times faster than man, they are not needed.
The people take death seriously and do not travel far.
Though thay have boats and carriages, no one uses them.
Though thay have armor and weapons, no one displays them.
Men return to the knotting of rope in place of writing.
Their food is plain and good,
their clothes fine but simple, their homes secure;
they are happy in their ways.
Though they live within sight of their neighbours,
and crowing cocks and barking dogs are heard across the way,
yet they leave each other in peace while they grow old and die.

Ups and downs, tears and laugh
We never stop, just fight!"

...Journal of...
I got inspired tonight to, well just inspired to do things.
I felt quite creative, yet held back at the same time.
It was like something inside was screaming to be let out,
but i didn't know what and i couldn't let it out.
When i'm in a creative mood i get flashes of what i want to do,
I know what i want but then i get blocked and have trouble doing it.
That happened tonight, it was like an overload of inspiration and ideas,
i had so many at once that i couldn't focus on one.
Anyway, the turnout was a new journal of sorts.
Ive had the journal itself a while, trying to figure out what to do with it.
It has now, as of tonight (07/06/07), become my book on identity.
Anything can be turned into an identity of kinds, so thats what this book will be. I suppose its more of an art journal though, or at least that might be a better name for it. I'm itching to fill it, but i'm going to have to be patient and see whats inside me to fill it. In the process i could work on my patience or lack of. I might scan some pages from it sometime in the future.
PLP (has been awhile since i said that)
...Freedom:Movement...
This is a scan of some work i did for a project on Freedom.
It was too large to scan the whole thing which is why it looks slighty unbalanced.
It was originally meant to be freedom from opression,
but it turned into freedom of expression.
Freedom to express yourself through movement and emotions.
I think possibly if i look at it to find emotion i find anger in it.
Anger at opression and wanting to break the mould and be free.
...Balaton Upland National Park...
The area to the north of Lake Balaton is memorable for its spectacular volcanic mountains and breathtaking views of the water below. The Balaton Uplands National Park, established in 1997, extends from the Tihany peninsula to Kis-Balaton (Little Balaton) in the West.

...Stronger Without You...
Hanna Pakarinen - "Stronger Without You"
We all have the moments we feel Stronger by ourselves,
We can do it all by ourselvs.
We don't need anybody else.
We don't need a partner.
A song to empower the singletons of us all.
...Benedictine Abbey of Pannonhalma...
The first Benedictine monks settled here in Hungary in 996. They went on to convert the Hungarians, to found the country's first school and, in 1055, to write the first document in Hungarian. From the time of its founding, this monastic community has promoted culture throughout central Europe. Its 1,000-year history can be seen in the succession of architectural styles of the monastic buildings (the oldest dating from 1224), which still today house a school and the monastic community.
...Mojot Svet...
"My world is called music,
It has no religions or borders.
My world is eight notes,
One Balkan soul."
- Karolina - "Mojot Svet"

...Tests...
.Tests:Exams.
Whether a test of faith,
Whether an exam of some sort.
They have one thing in common,
The answer.
Its either pass or fail.
No test is a good test.
